More Christmas in July ~ Cards and 3-D Giftables

How often have you needed an easy, cute gift or card around the Holidays? I know for me it's often enough that this year I've decided to be prepared for it. I put together this cute Hot Cocoa holder and spoon kit for just such an occasion!

I just used the Top Note Die, glued two of them together with my favorite adhesive, Tombo Multi Glue, stamped "Merry" from the Pennant Parade stamp set on the wooden spoon, added a few simple embellishments, and VIOLA! A cute little giftable.

This next cutie was easy-peasy, as far as putting it together! I don't have a lot of money for supplies, so consumable products are used sparingly at my house. That cute little button was made with the new Simply Pressed Clay, found in the new 2013-2014 Catalog, with the Buttons Clay Molds. This means I can make LOTS of buttons for a fraction of the price of buying buttons! {LOVE THIS}!!!

Christmas in July ~ Triple Time Stamping

This year at Convention, I changed my focus from last year's Halloween kick (which, surprisingly, not too many people are fans of here in the heart of the Bible belt) to Christmas when I was looking for swaps to participate in.

I absolutely {LOVE} the combination of Pool Party and the Silver Glimmer Paper!! It's so fancy and classy!

What do you think?

While I would love to own each and every stamp set in the catalog, I admit I only own one Alphabet stamp set. The Occasions Alphabet set is by far the most versatile, in my opinion!

The GORGEOUS snowflakes are from the Snowflake Soiree set that's only found on the carry over list from last year's Holiday Catalog, so though you won't see them in the catalog, you can still buy this set.

Visit my Online Store to get yours today!

Oh, Hello!

I am in love with the stamp set, Oh, Hello! I find I keep going back to it, though I have other stamps calling out to me for some love.

This little beauty was made for a card swap I participated in at Convention. I wound up making about 40 of them, which turned out to be a lot of "fussy cutting", as one observer put it. I took the bits and pieces with me wherever I went, just to get it done! My kids had swimming lessons that week, so while I got some strange looks, I did get them all done and as a bonus I was also able to share what I love with some new friends!

I'm also excited to enter this in to the Create with Connie and Mary Sketch Challenge!!

Convention 2013 Swaps

I have to start by saying Stampin' Up! REALLY outdid themselves this year at Convention! I was impressed well above and beyond what I had even imagined! One of my favorite things this year was all the organized swaps I was able to participate in. I'll start by sharing the swaps I made, but I can hardly wait to showcase the ones I received! There are some really talented girls (and guys) working with Stampin' Up!

This super cute fancy fold card was inspired by Darlene over at Dreaming About Rubber Stamps. I altered it a tiny bit, using the supplies I had. I just love the new Simply Pressed Clay and the Blossoms Clay Mold found in the new 2013-2014 Stampin' Up! Catalog. The little rosettes are absolutely adorable! The washi tape is also found in the new catalog & it's one of my favorite new items Stampin' Up! is carrying this year.

Here's a link to the video tutorial Darlene did, teaching you how to easily make this cute card:  Big Shot Fancy Fold Card
